How it started: This was my first Scirocco back in 1998 right after we bought it, it was a 1986 8v. I owned a 1976 Rabbit 4 door before this car.
I had been sitting on a good running 16v engine from a Scirocco after pulling out on my Rabbit for the Tesla Swap. I told my wife if we ever came across a Scirocco with a dead motor I wanna buy it. Well… the night before this photo I was on Craigslist looking, I’d usually do that a few times a year.

This interior was nasty, and took much longer than I expected. I found 3 mouse nests in the process, one was even in the blower fan.

These are the upcoming Projects for this build. This car is low priority and just for fun, things may go slowly now that the car is on the road.
